Our second graders are reading Wild Weather by Seymour Simon this week in their anthologies. He is one of my favorite nonfiction authors. He has his own website where you can find new books to buy, use his online science dictionary, and even write to him on his blog!

ReplyDeleteI read the book planets written bye Seymour Simon and it is cool how he made in 3D book and it is also good to learn about planets written bye him. And also it says our solar system is made up of fascinating planets and an enormously powerful sun. Jupiter is also large that 1,300 earths could fit inside of it!and on Mars temperatures can drop to hundreds of degrees colder than our south pole. What do these planet look like from spacecraft in our space?
