We are joining a project called The Global Read Aloud. You will listen to a story by Kevin Henkes called The Year of Billy Miller. Students across the country and around the world are also reading this book!
We will blog about this book each week. We have partners in other states that will look at our blog. We will look at their writing, too!
In the video below you will see Kevin Henkes talking about The Year of Billy Miller. He tells about his main character, Billy Miller, who just started second grade in the beginning of the story. In the comments below I want you to introduce yourself to the group AND tell what it was like to start third grade.
