His mother is a teacher and his father is an artist who stays home and takes care of the kids and the house.

He feels like he has a motor revving him up making him run.

He thinks Emma Sparkes is a pain.

He likes when his classmates think he is funny.

He wants to run, and run, and run because running makes him feel better.

Second Grade Global Read Aloud Introduction

We are joining a project called The Global Read Aloud.  You will listen to a story by Kevin Henkes called The Year of Billy Miller.  Students across the country and around the world are also reading this book!

We will blog about this book each week.  We have partners in other states that will look at our blog.  We will look at their writing, too!
